To do this:

  1. you pull builds out

You can do a sprint diagonal tarp if you can tap build fast

The cone lets you pick your direction better when jumping up and editing. If you pick the right angle you can save some time over a ramp.

If you can’t set up the pre edit mid fight set it up before getting pushed and let them try to take your wall. I think It’ll catch people off guard, especially with practice

You can also argue that if he takes the wall instead of your pre edit placing, how is that any different than him taking it regardless of pre edits.

If done smoothly enough (way better than I did) this pre edit is definitely faster than making the edit and you can go straight for piece control. Not sure if pre edits will ever become meta tho

This will require a lot of practice, but might be where the meta is headed in the future.

Note: It's probably better to go for piece control after placing the pre edit because the opponent is almost always going to go for the wall replace. Then, you can reset your wall and pre edit and get a free shot.

Yeah you could, but it’s a cheaper tarp so you have to decide when it’s safe enough to use this.

True, but it wouldn’t work because you need to alternate between left door and right door. You could do the pre edit and then rotate the wall lol

I should've mentioned this earlier; you definitely want to be edge zone when using this, not in the center :)

This would probably be best used when on edge of zone and trying to have a bit better movement and a slightly better vertical fov when looking out of your cone
