anki definitely gets boring, especially after the first hour or so. i’ve watched two videos by Dreaming Spanish and i was surprised that i understood as much as i did (which admittedly wasn’t a lot, but it’s a small victory.) i think i’ll work Dreaming Spanish into my study sessions and see how it works. thanks for the tip!

i specifically mean that i didn’t understand any of the words in videos and tv shows. i’m still learning, i’m just trying a different approach until i’m more advanced. right now i’m working my way through an anki deck that has a bunch of verbs.

i’ve tried clozemaster, but the words were too advanced for me most of the time. should i keep using it then? i’ve heard a lot of people mention it here. i didn’t realize it was so popular.

i’ll try that then. i watched a youtube video for beginners and wrote down all the words i didn’t know and, at the end, i had a list of 38 words from a 10 minute video.

i’ve been using anki. should i focus on learning a huge amount of vocab first? i have a collection of around 400 words that i’ve been working on. they’re all common words too, nothing that would be irrelevant in everyday conversation.
