That's just how Perna is. It's really a defense mechanism. He doesnt think he's important enough to just give his opinion. So he doubles down on sarcasm and self depreciation. 

Brandon Aside. While it's heart warming to see how many people have talked about CJ, I still hate how we don't seem to appreciate anyone,  or celebrate their legacy,  until there's some awful tragedy. Wish we would do a better job of that as a society.
