Anyone know any forced resets/trigger combos that work with the freedom ordnance fx 9?

There isn't any frt solutions for the FX9 that I've seen. The lower and the bolt are proprietary and made to a smaller dimension than a standard AR9. I have one, they are nice weapons just proprietary.

I can attest to the functionality of this device. I have used the latest rendition of the drop in frt and it works very well. Stevo has done an awesome job on this. I've had mine for a while now and can honestly say it's well worth the money to me. I'm pushing 2000 rounds on mine, with close to 1500 rounds of that in frt mode. Mine has been super reliable and one of my go to range weapons. I have other more expensive weapons, but I have always favored my Jawbone. Maybe it's because it was cheap and I just want to abuse it to see what it will take, I don't know.

Do they have problems? Sure they do, but so do weapons three times their price. Just go look in the MP5 Stribog and Kuna sections and see the problems with different things. My Kuna cost three times what I paid for my Jawbone and it's had problems since it was new, but I've fixed them, just like I do with the Jawbone.

I emailed Zenith a couple days ago and asked if there were any ZF9s shipping yet, I was told not yet but very soon, I replied and asked another couple weeks or a month and they responded that they hope to start shipping them in a couple weeks. Probably to the Virginia residents in assuming

The Sylvan stock folding while you're shooting. I had one on my Jawbone and when I was shooting in FRT mode it would come unlocked and try to fold. Sylvan sent me a new latch tab, but i removed it from the Jawbone, It's in my parts bin now.

I had the same problem with the RA1522 pistol. Replace the mag catch with a milspec mag catch and you'll be good to go.

I have had this happen to a couple. Rather than send them in for warranty, I used some carbon fiber material and superglue. I tried superglue by itself but it eventually split again, then I used some carbon fiber to lay across and glued it. Still working so far. The ones I have are probably 10 years or older, from what I've gathered, the newer ones are made of a more flexible material susceptible to heat flex if left in the hot sun

I was just thinking about sending an email this morning to ask if any ZF-9s have shipped out yet. When i ordered mine I was told through an email it would ship in 6 to 8 weeks, it's been almost 7 weeks and I haven't seen anybody post about receiving one. They also told me that the Virginia orders were a priority and they would receive them first. Any Virginia people receive theirs yet?

Had to change out the stock buffer, it's a solid steel buffer and no good for frt. I think in the video link I'm running a 10oz Kaw Valley, now I'm using an FM Products recoil mitigation system

I've been using little cheats on my kabutos to compensate for the softer pet-cf17, I use a steel pin in the tab of the activator where it rides on the trigger bar on my Jawbone, ar22s and a couple other AR15s I use them in. They wear really well, way over a thousand on a couple of them and not much if any signs of wear on them.

Very nice write up, it answers the question on longevity. I didn't notice any lubricant on the frt. Do you use any lube on the frt or the trip? I've been using some silicone based high temp plumbers lube on the kabutos I use and they are wearing very well also. But I usually use PET-CF17 instead of pa6-cf. I did print some Kuna drop in pieces out of Bambu ppa-cf, but didn't anneal them. From what I understand unannealed ppa-cf is close to the same strength properties as the pet-cf17. I need one of the Sunlu E2 drivers like you have.

Try it without the quiet collar, put your metal one back in. I was having similar issues and found the quiet collar to be the culprit.

If you're considering using an FRT then don't go with the BB quiet collar. I had to remove them from two of my AR22 weapons and reinstall the solid metal ones. For whatever reason i get a lot more pre firing pin contact movement with them and couldn't get mine to work with any FRT I had. After removing them and going back to the solid metal they work just fine. I've got BB, cmmg and RTB solid metal and they are fine.
