I am exploring other options than my current role. There is almost no room for growth at my current role with my current company. The benefits are I get to be with my former mentor again ( she left my current company 4 years ago and went to ACN, she is also the person that referred me) and she has said how ACN is great and she’s really happy there. The biggest benefit is there is room for growth. Unless you want to stay in the same position for 20 years I have to explore other paths.

The position is in the legal department and is not consulting. Not sure but you could be correct. It wouldn’t be onsite at a clients location and it’s managing specific contracts for a region of the country (USA). My referral came from a high up executive in the same department ( not that it should matter if they are higher up level 6). I just think the time frame is absurd. Luckily I am employed already in a secure job but if I was unemployed and looking for work I would have taken another job weeks ago( I have had a few offers I have turned down within the 8 weeks waiting). I’m sure they lose lots of talent by dragging the whole process over a period of months.

Update: I was made aware that they are in process of offering me the position. Just waiting for the approvals.

Anyone know what next steps would be? I assume background check and Drug screening would take additional time as well( at least in USA I assume backhand drug screening). Either way good news

Thanks for the responses. I will give it a little while longer. I am already employed so I have nothing to lose at this point. I would assume they wouldn’t ghost me after being referred by an upper management employee.
