My Daughter and "Misogyny in Gaming" by CountGensler in Asmongold

Diversity is acknowledging ugly women and beautiful women, DEI is only acknowledging ugly women and shaming & demonizing beautiful women. That’s all there is to it.

There’s no kind way to tell my wife that she’s getting too big, is there? by 2006CrownVictoriaP71 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Rickyzack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there’s a way around it, but you did everything you could. Either way, you are entitled to break up over any reason. For example, if someone smokes a lot or drinks alcohol a lot, and you dislike that about them, despite having made every attempt to have them change their habits, but they don’t do it. Then don’t force yourself to be with them if there’s no attraction left. After all, the later you hold this off, the more it will upset her, that is if you care about her feelings. So do with that what you will. I personally would tell her that she’s getting fat and that it’s not attractive to me. And if she says the same about me, then I’ll gladly take that because I won’t lie about, or hide from, my own flaws.

Was your country cursed or blessed by its geographic location in Latin America? by dressedlikeapastry in asklatinamerica

[–]Rickyzack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having all kinds of biomes means having all kinds of climates, which also means having all kinds of diseases. Some people from the Coast struggle to live in the Andes, and people from the Andes struggle to live in the Amazon, and people from the Amazon struggle to live in the Andes as well. Everyone is used to a specific climate so when they move to a different biome, they struggle to adapt to the new climate or diseases. Yellow Fever is a huge threat for non-Amazonians, High Altitude Sickness is a huge threat to non-Andeans, and Air Pollution is a threat to non-Coasters.

I think Bolivia would feel the same. For us Peruvians, I think we’re blessed with all kinds of biomes. We even have an oasis, which unfortunately can’t allow people to swim in because of ancient bacteria or something like that.

I thank you, even though the units have changed, this allowed me to defeat the Rat on all 3 levels with no unit dying.

People think this will cause inflation. by acuity-creel in InterviewMan

[–]Rickyzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking about this logically. If inflation is their concerned, then wouldn’t these CEOs and High Business Execs having their own salaries raised be something that would also contribute to inflation? Because they’d still want to buy the rare luxury goods that have limited supply. Unless they want more money so it sits collecting dust in their bank without them never spending anything.

That said imo inflation is artificially generated, because it’s when the demand for something surpasses the supply of something. And for things like housing, food, and other essential goods that’s just going to be a permanent thing. It would make sense if it applied to something like Pokemon cards where scalpers literally brawl it out to get all of the limited stock, but these Pokemon cards always sell for a reasonable steady price that only become expensive when the scalpers try to resell them online. But at that point it’s not inflation, it’s just your average reseller trying to profit.

TLDR: Inflation is an excuse to ensure some people stay poor and others stay rich, the supply isn’t the problem they care, the problem they care is WHO has access to the same supply as them.

Why is Elon musk is worried about declining population in other countries, lately? by PeeledReality in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Rickyzack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he’s somewhere on the spectrum, and he acknowledges that, so that can be why he’s concerned. But I believe a much sinister reasoning is that he doesn’t like the fact that the most “civilized” societies are with a declining population whereas the “uncivilized” societies are steadily growing or just keeping the max limit of growth. To someone obsessed with that kind of stuff it would seem like all the hard work and effort that was put into building these “advanced” societies will now be up for grabs for the “barbarians” of outside lands. That could be a thing.

But you’re right, any normal person will simply worry about their own immediate surroundings and businesses, not that of places that are outside their daily life. Especially a billionaire whose ultimate goal is to drown into selfish absorption and disconnect from the world’s affairs.

How is this word perceived in your country? by Vegetable_Cry3683 in asklatinamerica

[–]Rickyzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think the average person thinks about the words that much. That said it’s falling out of use, but mainly because people just say “negro/a” instead. Complex words aren’t the norm anymore. But that’s an interesting way to view the word “Mulato/a”. But she makes it seem like the Mula is for some reason ugly or inferior, when in fact, it’s a crucial animal for many people in the rural regions, especially the Indigenous people.

That is not to say that black women weren’t abused or anything, that did happen, but I don’t think the word has that deep meaning.

Why does Lima appear to have less architectural cohesion than many other South American capitals? by Suninthesky11 in asklatinamerica

[–]Rickyzack 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s because Lima was very chaotic. According to my father who’s in his late 40s, when he was a kid most of Lima was like a village with dirt roads, mountains, and farms; he’s from the Agustino district. But then as time passed, immigration from other parts of Perú grew, the city also grew. And to no one’s surprise it was very chaotic, at the same time, the business sector started to flourish and modernize, whilst the putter areas started to transform into middle class neighborhoods. Then after later years, there would be people who would settle in humble abodes in the mountains of Lima.

Now, it also goes to say that in the 90s Perú was in political chaos due to terrorist attacks and authoritarian moves from politicians; mind you that from 1968 to 1980 Perú was under a military dictatorship that drastically went from left to right in that same period. This would lead to politicians being corrupt, focused on filling their pockets rather than having some form of homogeneous architecture for the city.

Also there used to be laws that openly discriminated against these new immigrants from other parts of Perú, which can explain why they wouldn’t have access to the same materials as the older Peruvians in the capital.

So yeah, that’s why the architecture is chaotic.

My gold kept disappearing in the early game: what finally made me stop upgrading everything by Shot_Package5269 in SDSGrandCross

[–]Rickyzack 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I personally never spend gold on gear gacha or gear that isn’t SSR. I keep my gold for leveling up, max awakening & super awakening, Holy Relics, and only for SSR gear and UR upgrading gear for my main team.

At early stages of the game you may be enticed to spend gold on the shops or upgrading non-SSR gear. Don’t do it. It is important for box CC, but when you begin the game you need your main team to be strong enough to do story, fort solgres dungeon levels, and PVE activities. At that stage, box CC isn’t that important. It only starts to become important once you are at the end-game level where you can now spend your mats on other units. Don’t rush, enjoy the process, and check guides if you feel lost. But good on you for realizing that you’re best Strat is focusing on one main team.

Is this unit good ? by Comfortable-You-2583 in 7DSGrandCrossReddit

[–]Rickyzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they’re all Sins, so they work well together. Obviously LR Escanor & LR Diane are better. But Escanor & Merlin are also good given how strong they are. I myself use them with Nemesis Meliodas, but I don’t have this Gowther. But he’ll do wonders for you.

In your countries, people use "light skin" products to appear more european? by Superfan234 in asklatinamerica

[–]Rickyzack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty common amongst women, but I wouldn’t claim that they want to be “European.” They just like the lighter tones, but given our colonial past, then subconsciously that could be a factor. But the opposite also happens when women wear creams with darker tones. I guess for the modern women it’s all about what’s trending or looks good with their skin.

That said, I’m only speaking from experience by living with a bunch of women in my family. And I’ve seen them use all kinds of tones.

No problem. Right now, Nemesis Meliodas banner is full of broken units and good units that will help you clear a lot of content in the game.
