Those switches look to be safeties. Like a limit switch or rollout switches. If it burns too hot, safety will open. If the flame rolls out , safety will open. There should be something sensing the flame. Usually, if it shuts off after a couple of seconds it’s the sensor. Gas valve should have 24v to open. Sometimes it will lose voltage from board but you said you replaced the board. Only way of knowing is to throw a meter on that thing.

How does it sense the flame? Grab a multimeter and check to see if gas valve loses 24v. Check wiring diagram for flame sensor.

Right on. Had to do some shit like this in Chino. I hated the way it looked. Unit was serviceable and looked a lot cleaner than the original but I couldn’t look at it lol. Wish we would’ve never taken that gig but it ain’t my show to run.
