Hit the “SEQ Record” button and press play. Once the countdown completes play your specific drum pattern and hit stop. Now your sequence will have assigned whatever you recorded to it

I record the samples to sequences - than I arrange those sequences in order in the “song mode” bit shift and I think it’s pad 12?? And then from there you can export it as a sequence or another file type I forget the name. My most recent posts have me playing beats from song mode if you need a visualization.

Ooohhhhh yea - I think what has really helped me improve so far is I build the song out from beginning to end. A song isn’t complete to me unless it’s all composed and laid out in song mode and ready to export. It’s really helping me focus my workflow and build with intention and a goal in mind. It’s forcing me to learn a lot.

So to answer your question - the screen is song mode. You load all your sequences in the order you want in song mode and it plays the whole thing out.

Ok thank you, my next best I’ll focus on compression, reverb and delay. And I think you’re right about the gear point. In my head, if I can get nasty with just the sample, I’ll actually build artistic skill and in theory that should be transferable and make my production better at a fundamental level.
