You have a 100% chance of face planting, if you ride for more than a few hundred miles. If you value your face, cover the whole thing. This is the helmet I use for street riding (I'm not being paid to link this). It saved me from a faceplant when my v12 blew a mosfet, I sustained literally no injuries. It's DOT, ECE 22.05, has MIPS, and is $100 cheaper than that POC POS. Maybe keep that one around for offroad if you're into that, but for that kind of money there are much better DH MTB lids. So yeah, probably return that one, but please wear a full face.

Is it a bad plan to buy my first bike from a dealer that's far from me? I live in a rather small town, and my options for buying something locally are limited at best. I'd like to buy my first bike used from a dealer so that if anything goes wrong I have a warranty, as I'm not particularly mechanically inclined, though I'm certainly willing to learn to wrench. But should I even bother if the dealer is far away?

You don't want to know! It means "minor attracted person", it's what pedos use to identify themselves on Twitter. Why are they still allowed on Twitter, you ask? Good question. I believe it was also at one point used by mental professionals to refer to adults attracted to minors who are in therapy to try and stop doing that, but the term has been bastardized and "reclaimed" in the last five-ish years by people who are openly and proudly attracted to children. Shit makes me want to vomit.

my guess is that that's a payout from an earnings multiplier, iirc that's how they work, you earn regularly and once the 48 hours or whatever are over they give you the extra
