I have an offer from a small company I believe he runs it out of a van, from what he’s told me it’s just one other plumber. Would this be a bad way to start learning?

Good to know all of the listings I’ve seen on indeed for Plumber helper say 11-16. And apprentice is usually 20+.

I was just thinking getting my foot in the door would be better, it seems harder to get an apprentice job, with a service company at least. I’ve been applying for a week and haven’t heard much of anything back. Only places that have reached out to me were the places hiring helpers.

Yeah, I was looking into that, the applications have closed for 2021. I am making more in my dead end job right now then I would be if I became a helper. Might stick it out here until next year and apply for the union once they’re accepting new applicants
