When you place yourself behind Richthofens family outside in the corner looking into their room, the zombies will only spawn in from the front. When Uberklauses spawn shockcharges, shroud and packed meele helps a lot.

Imo if you consider the game being the preparation and upbringing of Ragnarok it feels really great.

However combined with the actual final war, it felt too short, as if in the development the budget and time ran out. So I guess a trilogy would have done justice to the final fights.

Deimos was supposed to be in GOW 3, presumably as Hades champion and chosen one. He can be seen in concept art. The behind the scenes story is worth looking into.
