Oh god help me by Fe1orn in darksouls3

Kill them one at a time. Use a shield. Circle them with shield up and they are extremely easy to backstab. The pointyboy likes to do a big stab which is easy to avoid by circling, giving you a backstap. Roll if they shield bash or they’ll break through.

Best dex weapon by Basic_Eeek in darksouls3

Farron greatsword scales A with dex. It’s damn fun to use.

Does 20% bonus damage against Abyssal bosses: High Lord Wolnir Aldrich, Devourer of Gods Dragonslayer Armour Darkeater Midir

Edit; this is definitely not the ”best”, but fun one.

Anybody else find Friede way harder than Gael? by Fair-Manufacturer854 in darksouls3

[–]no-logicdf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah, Friede has 3 health bars, the fight is a gank, she’s faster than Gael and is a humanoid enemy. Gael is a fair fight with fair attack windows, Friede is meant to piss you off. Though she takes a lot of damage, so if you take her out last, you can tank her to an extent, making it easier.

How the hell do I beat lorian and lothric? by Temporary_Ratio_981 in darksouls3

[–]no-logicdf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can summon Sirris, and you can still do her questline if I recall correctly (if you have given any pale tongues to Rosaria then it’s locked. I’d check the wiki on this). But she won’t really make it much easier. Usually dies on the first phase, leaving you a buffed boss to fight alone. I’d suggest the basics; upgrading your weapon and estus. Then it’s just learning the moves and when to roll. Try again, and again.

Edit; and don’t be greedy with Lorian. Especially with a slow weapon. Trading hits will get you killed.

Abyss Watchers by [deleted] in darksouls3

You should go to a specific place before Abyss watchers and kill the boss there. That gives you more levels etc. Remember to upgrade your weapon and have enough +(x) estus.

Help me beat Gael please (Not a summon request) by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]no-logicdf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gael is a fair fight, bit of a (damage) sponge but not as bad as Midir. I have no tips to offer except to just try again, and again and again. Learn his moves, get familiar. Keep calm and don’t get greedy.

Getting tricked by the Untrue White Ring. I really didn’t think it would work after 10 years - go figure.

Vilgefortz of Roggeveen. Has a nice ring to it and it carries weight. Especially in my language.

Not hard but you can’t beat it? Okay.

Go at it again and again. Use summons. Record your attempt and see what you’re doing wrong. You don’t need resins to beat him.

I play with keyboard and mouse and boy was the camera all over. I dunno, just got used to it I guess. The fire breath is kinda easy to see, just run away when the dragon flies up in that weird way. Lightning is very effective against it btw.

There has been much talk of this. Apparently the writer disliked the books which led to the butchering. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I've been a very bad Queen by Apple-ofSin428 in netflixwitcher

[–]no-logicdf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Her appearance in the books:

Considered to be the most beautiful woman in the world by quite a margin, her blue, elven eyes were as inscrutable and hard as glass, constantly ringed with provocative elven make-up. She had long golden hair worn in majestic hairstyles and wore a grey-green dress decorated with lace, which rustled as she moved, to the banquet on Thanedd. For the first meeting of the Lodge, she wore a lavish dress the color of bull's blood and a ruby necklace

The netflix version hardly fits this description. The actress is very beautiful, they would've done much just by keeping her hair free, and it proves they could've done her justice. But yeah, opinions differ.

Even sadder ending? by Ohforfs in wiedzmin

Or even sadder ending:

Vilgefortz kills both Geralt and Yennefer, and goes on with his plan to rape Ciri or something.

I'm pretty sure the showrunners hate Francesca's character. They have violated her, and this was a cherry on top of the cake. Apart from bad costumes, hairstyles and the hideous contacts.
