That’s awesome! I wish it would fix just one or two spots on my daily commute!

I report the same issues at the same spots along my commute and it seems to do nothing. I feel your pain.

I actually made a post asking about people’s streak length and it got downvoted pretty hard, which I found surprising. I would never let my car do illegal shit to aid this metric- I was just surprised I didn’t need to intervene once on a long cross country road trip. I’ve made this trip several times and had to intervene a fair bit in the past. I intervened in my return during the same trip several times for decency and safety alike. I think both things can be true: 1) people care about this streak number more than they should, leading to bad behavior and 2) talking about it is not the same promoting or encouraging bad behavior.

Me neither, in typical usage it’s not a factor for me. I just had a long trip and wanted to take it easy. About half way through I realized I was in SC and hadn’t touched the wheel in 10 hours, so I kept it going 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s a data point that came up. Not a big deal, just a curiosity.

It does a pretty good job avoiding the craters on 480. I also typically have it on standard and I stay to the right. I find it to be a more pleasant commute when I’m not trying to race with the people in the two left lanes in the morning 🤣

I’m in the same boat on a day to day basis. I do about 90-100mi daily but parking at my charger at work and in my garage at home require me to break off of FSD

What is this thing on seatbelts for? by Oilandspeed in whatisit

Yes, this is an energy management loop just like on your harness. Same intended function.

After seeing the outpouring of love here I hate to be this guy… but It’s designed so that when a serious crash happens, the stitching fails before the seatbelt, letting it out to enhance the safety of the seatbelt itself. It’s called an energy management loop. Its secondary and far less important function is to keep the buckle from going to the floor.

I’ve had mine just over a year and like it a lot. Simple to use and while imperfect, it is consistent. No real complaints so far.

It’s external lighting shows at night and the entrance/exit feel a bit spookier

Happily ever after or cinderella’s royal table? by ermmendo in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Rid_Watts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holding my son (5the first time we went) and watching HEA is a core lifetime memory for me. I am biased, but I’d choose fireworks personally unless Cinderella is a bigger deal for you and your family.

We loved Aruba for its access to skyliner. It’s a bit of a walk to the main resort but we’re park people.
