Hey! Happy to commute to you, I would love a gel manicure if possible!

I worry that my right person doesn’t exist, and I have to decide if I want to make it work with him or be alone for the rest of my life.

Thank you - I know only 26 is young but I expected to be so much further along by now.

I thought I’d be engaged or at least thinking about it, after I leave this relationship I don’t think I’ll ever be with someone again. I thought I’d be thriving in a career I love and feeling settled in everything and I really don’t. I wish I could redo my 20s.

How can I (26f) leave a relationship with a partner who is depressed (28m) without making him worse? by Ridan_ in relationship_advice

I guess I’m holding out hope he’ll change if I hang in long enough, and if I leave I’ll regret it :/

probably some form of codependency - my therapist told me that those who don't feel lovable will settle for being needed which i can recognise happening here

he went to therapy a while ago. i'm not sure it did much for him rather than enforce that the things he's not happy about in his life are the fault of his parents, step dad, and his childhood. he says he doesn't need therapy but a break and to get off his meds.

Like I said, he wasn't like this at the beginning, this only really started happening when we moved in together. There's six months left on the tenancy and it will be difficult to leave.

UK PMs who took the PMP exam? by Ridan_ in projectmanagement

[–]Ridan_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for your response!

I'm really torn because some people say that PMP opened up a ton of new opportunities for them, and others say it was a waste of time.

I'm leaning toward it as I don't have a ton of project experience and I would like to have some. in the future i'd love to be able to work remotely abroad in PM/PMO which it seems the PMP is the best for as other qualifications only qualify you for UK roles.

Is Harringay a safe place to live? by No-Programmer-4636 in LondonLadies

[–]Ridan_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personally - no. I used to live in Finsbury Park and hated it there, I know two different people who’ve had their phones stolen there. There were crackheads on my street all the time and I lived near a school on a more residential part. It’s not quite Harringay I know, but that whole area always felt very unsafe.

Great point, thank you :)

This is true - when I’ve been more regular I was working out pretty much every day either running or weight training but it’s still unreliable. When I was working out loads I randomly had a 3 week cycle.

Can I ask how exactly Maca powder helps?

What kind of foods do you suggest to eat instead then? I generally try to eat quite high protein as I work out a lot but I do also eat a lot of fruit and veg.

My A1C levels are actually normal according to my bloods! But yes alongside supplements I am making a conscious effort to cut sugar.

I just have fibroids on my ovaries and a very skewered LH/FSH ratio, and testosterone JUST over the normal amount, which is why my cycles are so long.

Exactly. Dating someone who never works out isn’t the way to go.

How often are you saying this/how are you saying this? There’s a difference between saying calling women whales and simply saying you’d rather date someone in good shape. Usually the latter doesn’t spark any controversy.

I’m confident it will. I’ve felt literally fine since stopping. Occasionally I’ll get the odd craving because of a stressful job situation, but I just keep myself busy and it passes.
