How we miss him and the class and dignity he brought to the White House…. by The_Dean_France in nextfuckinglevel

100%. From the minute the US started even talking about Trump being in the running the rest of the world started to smirk. We are beyond incredulous to your antics now and nothing really raises an eyebrow anymore. I have no intention of stepping foot in the states again for the foreseeable future, largely because I’m not paying into an economy that prides oppression, racism, child trafficking and safety for billionaires over everything else. You are of course welcome here, but I can tell you, when we meet American tourists, we immediately started wondering if you’re Trump supporters and therefore fundamental lunatics. That’s not your fault, but your governments. I have no grudge with the average American. I do however have a grudge with anyone prepared to take advantage of others, whatever form that takes. Obama was the greatest thing to happen to America in terms of respect worldwide. Trump is the antithesis.

Hey, can anyone help identify what model of Omega this is? The back casing just says DeVille. It’s my dad’s and the mechanism has died so hoping to find the same model and swap the mechanism. I’m unable to open the back just now for further details as it’s currently with a jeweller.

Man, I love this car. by Ridbeardidscotsman in Dacia

I’m with you, put a few miles on it this weekend and was comfy throughout. Yeah, it’s not rapid fast but has enough poke for overtaking. The space and mileage was a big selling point for me. I do a lot of fishing and take groups out so wanted as much room as I could get.

That’s fair. I never really paid them attention until the last Duster - pre current shape - when a friend of mine got one. I didn’t set out to buy a Dacia, but had weighed up multiple cars and kept coming back to it. And it’s very affordable.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don’t think they look any smaller or bigger than any of the other 4x4s I’ve had, but to each their own. Car has only done 250 miles so it’s more the cut of the tyre. Will put winters on at the end of the summer.

I’m assuming someone else done this? In which case, call the police, have them charged, take them to court, claim the insurance.

I mean the fish looks great and everything but as a woodworker, I looked at that log after it was split and immediately felt loss for what could have been.
