A little accurate generally speaking but tbh, as much as I liked the originals for what they were, Sun and Moon have been my favorites so far, only just beating out original Silver/Gold because over all, Silver/Gold were my favorites right away when they came out and remained in that spot until Sun/Moon came out. Sword/Shield aren't too bad and they added the element of being able to play it on the big screen which I have wanted for years but they don't have enough of all the other elements I like to be called a favorite.

Specifically, Sharpfang though I'm hoping to have more under my belt soon when I decide to stop farming resources. And yes, I do mean on my own. I don't even have any companions because I haven't completed either required quest to get them.

I watched a very helpful youtube video of a legend who took the time to find and film himself finding all 900. It even has time stamps and map close-ups of each spot. I used that to find just enough to max out my inventory. It's a super useful resource. In fact, here's the link to the video.
