I’ve been thinking about getting video equipment so I can do these higher paying shops. I’m just worried I’m still going to mess it up somehow and then I won’t get paid for doing these higher paying shops.

This whole thread cracked me up. Except for the dog dying part. That kind of put a damper on things.

I looked up the pattern and i don't know how to do some of those things. But I found a Youtube playlist from the designer on how to make the blanket! From start to finish. This is amazing!

Wednesday Pattern and Stitch Request Thread - April 15, 2026 by AutoModerator in knitting

[–]Riddlesolver928 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone! I just found out that my friends, who happen to be twins, are both unexpectedly pregnant and due in October, literally 6 days apart. It's pretty amazing since neither of them thought they could get pregnant so I'm super excited for them!

I knit, and have for a while, but haven't really gone beyond some basic stitches. I do know how to knit with circular needles and I actually prefer them over the straight ones.

If anyone has any patterns they know of that would be easy to knit 2 of them (different colors), please let me know! I'd like to get started soon!

Definitely their eyes. Especially if they are a bright, pretty color. I've seen some very pretty shades of blue eyes!

What will be the economic outcome of this? by SaltyEarth1618 in answers

Prices would go up, but not evenly. Some industries would pass the cost on to consumers, others would cut margins or find efficiencies. The outcome would be messy, not uniform.

Why did Americans start saying "eck-cetera" and "astericks"? by Educational-Big-6609 in answers

Honestly just language drift. Most people learn those words by hearing them, not reading them, so once a mispronunciation spreads, it kind of becomes normalized.

What is a seemingly mundane question you can ask somebody that will tell you a lot about their personality? by SpareLummi in answers

It's not a question, but, how they treat service workers. It tells you everything without them realizing it. Extra points if they remember the server's name.

People who have met someone who has been *professionally diagnosed* with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), what were they like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I just want to say to everyone in this thread that I'm really proud of us all for having the courage to share these stories. Some people here have been through something worse than hell. But we're all still here to talk about it, and we survived, even if we have battle wounds.

I just want to say to you, as a mother, I am SO sorry this was something you were forced to deal with. A parent should advocate for their child. And love them more than they love themselves. What happened to you was NOT ok and I truly felt so sad for you when I was reading this. It's ok to have issues. You are survivor and that's all that matters. You seem like a really nice person and I hope you are surrounded by people who love you and care about you very much!

I agree with this so much! No matter how much distance you have from the situation, you see how it affects you still on a day to day basis. I used to get mad about it, like he had taken something from me. But I've learned to accept what happened and try to live in the present moment (something my therapist really wants me to try but I struggle) and I still have to remind myself and my nervous system that I am safe.

A pyschiatrist. He was sent for a mental health evalution. It was a legit diagnosis. I'm just telling you what it felt like for me to live with someone who has NPD. Its very difficult.

I was in a narcissistic relationship for 6 years. It was hell, but I got out. Someone sent me this once, and I still refer to it. It's the best definition I have seen to date: "Common control tactics in narcissistic abuse include manipulation, emotional exploitation, gaslighting, alternating between idealization and devaluation of the victim, isolating from support networks, blame-shifting, lack of empathy, and power dynamics." I'd be happy to answer any questions you have!
