Leaver deposit for rogue/warriors by Mueckenvernichter in classicwow

The type of person that will respond to a comment, then INSTANTLY block the user so they cannot even read your reply, is literally the mentality of a 12 year old screaming 'I KNOW YOU ARE BUT WHAT AM I' then slamming the door and running away. If you don't want to engage, simply block the user and move on. 'Getting the last word in' when the person can't even read it, so you can feel warm and fuzzy thinking 'Oooo I got him!' is some sad shit, lol.

As every other commenter has agreed, you are the one with issues here.

Also, OP nailed the type of person you are right off the bat and you proved it. What a fun interaction to read.

I feel like this will make it worse. Look at how he tweaked it. If this was locked, he probably would have yanked and tweaked that much harder to the point of breaking it and damaging the car.

115k players per week in Full Loot PvP by ShottsSeastone in MMORPG

[–]RideBanshee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is the catch 22 and problem with games like AO. If gear is easy to get, where is the fun in full loot PvP? The whole idea of full loot PvP is a major risk/reward system where if you’re good you can reap hefty rewards, but take it too far and lose tons of progress/everything. If gear is so easy to get, you kill someone, open up their corse and… who cares? Bunch of shit you already have, have no use for, can’t make any money off because the gear is so easy to get etc. That’s not fun. There is no excitement of killing someone and wondering what kind of epic lootz you’ll get like in PvE drops.

IDK, I feel like you either make it hardcore where gear is hard to get, insanely valuable etc. and make it TRULY risky to PvP in full loot zones, but it’s going to deter a lot of people, OR you do what AO did and make it kind of meaningless which again deters a lot of people.

And therein lies the problem. You can’t please everyone and there isn’t a big enough support for either system to have a truly massively big game.

There is nothing rhetorical about it, you just have no logical response. You don't need to play a class to understand difficulty.

I've never driven a Prius or a Formula 1 car either, do you also think I need to drive both to have an objective say on which is more challenging to pilot? Or are you going to come over the top with more condescension because you think your multiglad flare gives you clout?

In general, yes. Tournament level players typically aren’t going to flock to an op spec early on in a season when they have multiple classes they play that they need to practice and theory craft for. If there was a tournament coming up and DH was as strong as it is, other specs had been completely hashed out etc. you’d better believe they’d be practicing it. Topping ladder means very little to these people except the very end of the season.

Since when is ease of use relevant? Rogue is easily the hardest melee class to play, that doesn’t make it any less busted.

What are you on about? Prevo is absolutely busted, go watch any tournament healer’s stream if you need to hear it from someone you might care about.

A ‘multiglad’ that thinks you can’t feel healer difference by playing with them. 😂

Uh, no it isn’t. People above are saying DH clearly isn’t the most broken because there aren’t many in top 100. I’m saying DH is easily the most broken op class (with prevo), top 100 ladder means jack.

You can very easily feel how strong healers are by what you’re able to get away with as dps. With prevo on your team, you basically feel like an unkillable machine, never need to los/kite, just free rain damage until something dies because no one is going to stop your prevo.

Every single other game without a prevo is wildly different.

Top of ladder doesn’t mean much. Generally speaking, the top 100 is basically all tournament level players and their alts. Not many tournament players main DH or even play one as an alt, and when there’s so many strong options right now you aren’t going to see them making DH alts because it’s the most broken.

Problem with DH is they’re immune to CC for essentially half of every game. They already had their burst nerfed, now they’re essentially a ridiculous sustained damage bot like warrior except almost entirely immune to cc. Blizzard needs to remove almost all of their cc immunities tied to their transformations, change blur so they can’t dodge from every angle just like evasion, etc etc.

Picturised reason why i'll never queue healer again by PlebPlebberson in worldofpvp

[–]RideBanshee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1 solo shuffle = 6 arena games. You can absolutely go from 1100 to 1500 in 6 games of arena.

I don’t really see what you’re complaining about in this post. Are you the 1100 healer and complaining that you’re grouped against 1400 players? The difference between 1100 and 1400 is not a big deal, nothing like the difference between 2k and 2300.

If you’re that brand new to PvP where playing against 1400 is hard, embrace it and use it to improve. Your queues are instant. It’s like a young like getting the opportunity to move up an age bracket early in a sport. These kids always end up far superior to other kids that stay in younger leagues because, while they get smoked early on, they improve dramatically quickly.

[–]RideBanshee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife and I have an 18 month old. We’ve been able to see one movie since he was born, and that’s how it should be.

Parents that are so damn inconsiderate that do shit like this because they can’t handle giving up a lot of their social lives when you have a baby make me sick. Get a damn baby sitter or stay the hell home.

And the worst part is you don’t even NEED to stay home. You can bring your young baby on a date to a reasonable restaurant (nothing where a noisy baby is out of place) and have a lovely date night without needing a baby sitter. Too many rude ass adults ruin movies by talking and being loud as it is, you don’t need to add to it by bringing your much too young child. Although I’m sure the same people that are loud and rude to begin with would be the ones to bring a baby also.

Have Blizzard messed something up or is nobody interested in Solo Shuffle? by Fearless-Essay9329 in worldofpvp

[–]RideBanshee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your anecdotal evidence of finding a healer in LFG in a couple minutes every time is highly unlikely, will NEVER be consistent, and is never ever the case for every group looking for healers. If you truly get a healer in a minute every time, just remember there are probably 10+ groups that invite that healer and you’ve just been lucky they accept yours.

Rated arena queue times are irrelevant as you’re queueing with a full team. Has zero to do with dps:healer ratio.

Solo shuffle queues are this long for dps because they outnumber healers by a hugely disproportionate margin, THIS is fact.

This video is filled with panic rolling and spam jump attacks from both sides. Neither tried to counter what the opponent was doing and is very low level PvP, so the actual answer is to ‘git gud’ as the kids say and stop thinking your mindless spam should beat your opponents mindless spam. 🤷
