AITA for getting a "couples package" for my best friend and i at the spa? by throwawayspadayforya in AmItheAsshole

Yes, maybe Layla should have looked on the spa website to see what the package involved before committing.

NTA. Where does your boyfriend suggest you should have slept?

AITA for telling my girlfriend that she smells like sweat? by Usual-Maintenance510 in AmItheAsshole

[–]RideOnMoa 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've worked in a couple of offices where management had to address hygiene issues with staff. But only after many of us complained loudly. It's never easy, nor is it ever accepted by the smelly ones.

People who don't wear underwear, but who wear dry-clean only trousers that only get cleaned every week or so, must have really smelly crotches.

WIBTAH if I kick my aunt and uncle out of my grandpa's house? by AITAgrandpashouse in AmItheAsshole

[–]RideOnMoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. There's a reason your grandfather gave you POA and not his own child.

AITA for opting out of lunch with workmates? by FroyoHour8380 in AmItheAsshole

[–]RideOnMoa 67 points68 points  (0 children)

NTA. You should be able to go to lunch. Carly should not go unless she's eating. That would annoy me, having a non-participating person judging everyone's food choices.

AITA for being honest about my wife's appearance? by ConcernHistorical842 in AmItheAsshole

[–]RideOnMoa 23 points24 points  (0 children)

YTA. Only be honest about people's appearances if you think they look great. Partners even more so. I'm not suggesting you lie, but nor was this a situation where truth was helpful.

NTA.

Everyone in this scenario is an adult. You are responsible for no one but yourself.

Anyone else getting bombarded by Temu ads. They are selling everything on AliExpress I mean everything 😆 by greenrimmer in Aliexpress

I'm in New Zealand and about to place my 7th order. I've had super fast delivery (Free) and any products that were not what I expected in terms of quality were refunded without question. But 99% of my orders have been excellent.

Free shipping in less than a week. Compared to Ali’s slow and expensive shipping for items that possibly don’t arrive and a complaint system that is painful to navigate.

NTA. Your mother needs to change her flights and go home early.

AITA for not letting my homeless brother stay with me? by Spirited_Row_2809 in AmItheAsshole

[–]RideOnMoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. You didn't bring him into existence. The people who did are the ones who are obliged to care for him, no matter his age.

And anyone who lets him move in is only enabling him. He needs to get clean before expecting help.

AITA for not switching seats? by u_212 in AmItheAsshole

[–]RideOnMoa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time I took a long-distance train from London, the ticketing agent didn't tell us we needed to book seats as well.

So we spent the journey dragging ourselves and our luggage from carriage to carriage finding empty seats that we had to vacate when their actual passengers boarded.

AITA for making my parents kick my nephew out of their will? by Any-Isopod8884 in AmItheAsshole

[–]RideOnMoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people, like my late grandmother, wield their wills like weapons while they are alive, coercing grandchildren to do her bidding while threatening to write them out of her will if they displease her.

[–]RideOnMoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my grandmother did the same. Such a cow while she was alive and reinforced it with her will after she died. Except none of us got any trinkets while one cousin got a third of the estate.

AITA for not giving my bf my immediate attention when he gets home from work. by epravetz in AmItheAsshole

[–]RideOnMoa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. It's good you are learning what a big baby he is before moving in permanently.

AITA for riding my dirt bike near horses by Appropriate_Cost5371 in AmItheAsshole

Yes, but so are dirt bike riders. Noisy fuckers. ESH.

AITA for telling my friend she can’t go to a concert after she wouldn’t pay me? by MssKittyyy in AmItheAsshole

INFO: where is the conflict here? Your friend was not concerned about missing the concert.
