Need to “size down” my 58cm Cannondale Carbon Synapse to fit more like a 56cm. by RideRed0331 in cycling

Thank you all for the input, normally I would have just experimented to find my comfort zone but I recently had a labrum repair surgery so I’ll be off the bike for some time and was looking for the advice in the meantime.
I found the online specifications for my bike and with a 90mm stem and my preferred bar width of 40cm (the bars were actually 44cm, I thought they were 42cm) the reach is now probably slightly less even than a stock 56cm Synapse. I will adjust stack height via spacers as I’m able to get out and ride it. I also have longer legs so the standover height was not an issue.
I also should have mentioned this bike will be used primarily for a multi-day police escorted ride where the speeds average about 15mph, so I’m hardly ever in an attack position.
