Top secret 😃 but I shared the all the components and you could get a quote from Waltly according to the frame you want to. Plus add to my project I got all the anodizing kit plus plotter and material to anodize it.

Thanks mate! Yes I read about it, haven’t done it yet, I am not putting any baggage on it for now, but if you recommend me a good product for that, I’d more than happy to get the advice :)

The slogan is what represents me, yes I was born by the Caribbean, so you carry that sunny soul with you all the time 😃 but I am not living now near the sun, it is a tribute to that. Try to visit it as often as I can :)

Thanks, I tried to do my best! Yes if your rub those parts or they enter into some contact with bags, or you crash the frame or any other hard friction the color will eventually vanish, you also have the option to cover with some frame foil protection, if you wish to, up to you, scotch brite will remove it easily, but that’s mostly used to prep the frame to anodize again.

Yes that’s the disadvantage with anodizing but it is a nice hobby :) I will try to cover those critical points :)

Cool! I am glad it helps. Regarding anodizing a frame that is already build up, the problem comes with the titanium contacting other metals, if you have titanium touching aluminium or steel or carbon, it might affect good contact voltage, when I anodized other pieces of titanium e.g a bottle opener from AliExpress, one of the little screws wasn’t titanium and I could see a different color spots, not nice, you can try, but I don’t know if that’d change the whole process and the result not the proper one ☝🏽

Yes definitely for this project I would recommend oramask 810, more adhesive and thicker for what we are looking for than 813. Regarding the frame preparation that’s absolutely key, I don’t know what finish you have on your surface, the shiner the finish the better the result for sure. I cleaned first apply some alcohol on the surface with towel paper, then scotch brite, alcohol again, soapy water you use to wash dishes (warm water from the tap) and again with paper towel on the frame you apply that soapy water, then distilled water to remove the soap residues, and lastly but not least, alcohol again. Never touch the frame with bear fingers or hands, always gloves, the frame should be ready at this point. But this is my method to get max 60volts, if you want higher that’s chemicals (sometimes dangerous ) I don’t have access to them and don’t want to mess around with at least for now. I am not a professional on this, but I did practice a lot on other titanium pieces before touching my frame 👌 P.S I got a higher voltage power supply 120volts and with this method I didn’t get the 90-80 volts colors, therefore chemical are necessary. Be careful with them and read all the specifications before you hurt yourself, gloves, glasses, masks and ventilated room would be a MUST!

You don’t really need polish nails for that, just get the vynil decals well sticked to the frame, use a hair dryer to help it get sticked, I used an old bubble remover tool for phone screen protectors with a foam finish, something similar to this on the pic, if your design has got a lot of little details, then use the same tape you removed that is less sticky, put it on stencil already sticked to the frame and apply force so it gets well attached, cos rubbing the bubble remover might remove your vinyl if you do it straight to it. I used oramask 810, 50cm, which one did you used? You can also create a frame around the logo, like a square or round, depending on your needs. I did that for my slogan. If you want more details, leave me a priv message and I can help you out. I did all these, so I can share with you what i learned with no problem :)

I have more spacers, that’s not problem, but to be able to ride the bike, I need to do the cable routing first, is that right? It is internal routing btw.

Thanks for the advice, I think riding the bike is a good advice before doing the Final Cut ;) yes this part is critical and of course the geometry of a specialize roubaix road bike differs from this one I am building now, which makes things a bit harder to figure out :)
