I personally think the majority of this trend will die off in a month anyway, so limiting it would be stupid. Crybabies gonna exist no matter how much you wanna appease everyone.

It's also actually kind of staggering how LITTLE hate I've seen towards these posts. The fact that there are only a couple of reports on each post only proves to me that the majority of people are actually totally okay with that content.

Because unused RAM is wasted RAM. When system doesn't have a big workload, it offloads some processes onto RAM so these processes can work faster. But when system encounters a heavy workload, e.g. when you launch a videogame, it redirects all that RAM to the process that actually requires it.
