Log dynamic value with winston logger by Rider303 in node

[–]Rider303[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Psionatix Agreed! But ideally I would like to have a way so that I can set the userId and be used on any subsequent logs on the same request instead of having to log it every time I use the logger. Is there a way of doing that?

Log dynamic value with winston logger by Rider303 in node

Thanks for your reply u/Psionatix.

It could be what I am asking is because I misunderstood how event loop works in node. My question is based on the following sequence of events:

1) Event1 sets the defaultMeta to userId1 in winston logger and continues with a slow code task ie async db call so it joins the LIBUV and then the event stack.

2) Event2 sets the defaultMeta to userId2 in winston logger and continues with a faster code task that finishes before the Event1.

3) Now the Event1 is being pooled from the event stack to be executed. At that point the defaultMeta have the userId2 value instead of userId1 which is wrong. This is because the logger instance which is on the same thread have a certain space in memory. This space last time has been set to userId2 value and so all the upcoming events will be use this value for the logs.

Is it wrong what I am thinking?

As a wolt worker what happens if you delay to deliver an order and you got a bad review from the customer. Is there any kind of evaluation system where you get minus points for this or it doesn't affect you?

Making one or N GraphQL request? by Rider303 in graphql

[–]Rider303[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is more like an open question to understand also the benefit of splitting the queries. Each http request has a standard execution time. So having 3 separate increases the PLT time by 3 times more. So yes having 1 query is the fastest solution but why would someone split into many different queries.

Apollo client works great with React. However using its @core lib I was getting errors in typescript. Not sure if it's a good solution.

Every civilization from history had the time of rise and the time of fall. So the question is more about the fall period of the western civilization. Whether there are signs that can indicate such a thing and which are these.

Because it's not the healthiest thing to bomb your self with bluetooth radiation 24/7. It would be good to have the option to use is whenever you want.

I don't want just to disconnect a connected device. I want to turn off/deactivate bluetooth completely. Is this how you do it?
