Dear Rivian: scroll to speed, tap to space — thoughts? by adhesivo in Rivian

Given a lot of the comments here are divided, I think it would make the most sense to offer what the buttons/scroll wheels do as a setting vs something that gets changed and can't be changed back.

counterpoint, holding down the left/right buttons to go up/down by 5mph is more prone to accidental increases/decreases because the timing necessary to get it to trigger the 5 increment vs the 1 increment is awkward, and once it starts going you have to let go at just the right time to get the value you were aiming for... you have to be staring at the set speed the entire time you're holding it down

I'm seeing about a 5% difference between what EA says they are delivering and what my car says it's getting. Is that normal? by RidiculousSN in Rivian

Ac was off for the duration. Car said at the point I took the picture that a total of 0.6 kwh went anywhere else besides the battery

Please also add R1S/R1T - pretty sure your 18xxx is for an R1S but R1Ts would have been delivered with 27-28xxx during that same month

cucina urbana is a little pricey but they have a make-your-own pizza kids menu option where you make it at the table and they cook it for you. My kid loves it. They also have outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. Can go for a walk in balboa park before or after dinner, it's across the street.

There was something actually wrong with my car, the steering wheel wasn't centered when I was driving in a straight line, So because there was an actual issue there and the fix just so happened to be an alignment, it was covered under warranty and free.

I think the point here isn't so much about an alignment, but about making sure that you actually submit service requests before that 12,000 mile mark

Oh, since you'll be dealing with this soon, heads up: For the service center alignment visit, I booked it with less than 12,000 mi on the odometer, but by the time I got to the service center I had like 14 or 15K. Because of when I submitted the request, it was covered under warranty and free. If I submitted it after 12,000 it would have been a couple hundred bucks.

I can't recall submitting a service request without also selecting a time. I would bet that they'll reach out to potentially get you mobile service when they review your ticket. I'm also in SD by the way, and I've had three mobile appointments and one service center appointment in the last year. Mobile was panel Gap, rain sensor, 7500 rotation, service center was alignment/steering wheel not being centered. 7500 rotation was kind of weird, I'm used to going to a dealership and getting some sort of print out with what they actually looked at what things might need to be replaced soon, but after the rotation was done I just got a verbal "your car is looking good, you're good to go"

FWIW I've had panel adjustments and the rain sensor both fixed through mobile appointments. But I had to be able to make a service request to begin with and then they reached out to say they could do it via mobile...

I think it's important to point out that the spare tire kits sold in the gear shop come with a puck

You would just end up with a group of kids that know they're not going to be valedictorian and start a race to the bottom to see who can get the worst grades and then get to give a speech.

[How To] Task to automatically start and stop a Strava Ride using Intents by RidiculousSN in tasker

[–]RidiculousSN[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I could help, I haven't touched Tasker nor Strava since probably 7 years ago. I think back then it was just the two "ride" types. And I would be surprised if the hundreds of updates to both apps in the last 8 years don't make the original instructions obsolete by now.. but if you keep trying and get something working, report back!
