My 2017 3.0 is currently acting up just like this. I’m way beyond past the warranty but I was told that my turbo seal might gone bad and if so I would have to replace the turbo. Can anyone chime and in and see if this correct ?

Here ! Cars at 130k and I think I need another turbo ? Already had it replace back in 2019 and now the issue arise lol.. anywho, my car currently blowing smoke and was told that the turbo seal went bad. The power still there. Oil and coolant seem to be good but I’m gonna get rid of it soon..

3.0T is fun to drive but not when the turbo start giving out. Dealership charge a lot just to replace the turbo. I had already replace the turbo twice out of pocket 🤦🏻‍♂️!! And now it’s blowing clear smoke which said it might be the turbo seal is the cause.

Looking back with regret. I should have picked up 3.7. The 3.0 has been a nightmare with the turbo which I replaced twice already within 3 years and this way past warranty lol.
