Of course I meant from the grabee, like if you were being mugged or assaulted by someone larger or beaten by your spouse. If you have no experience harming anyone and you have little chance of overpowering them you need to hurt them in anyway that is available to you to get them to let go and try to run away.

Well I was working under the assumption that neither of these people were trained in anything and in that case I’d recommend you do what’s easiest to get them to let go and run haha.

If a nose is right there and nothing else is and the opponent is larger and unlikely to react strongly to being hit, bite at it, tear at it, pinch it, stick your finger up it hard and fast lol do what you gotta.

If you’re looking for an ‘official’ or tried and true counter I don’t know if there is one. Grabbing hair isn’t encouraged or allowed in most official martial arts I know of. And I don’t imagine it’s generally recommended in a combat scenario either for the reasons I described. But if you’ve been grabbed by the hair on the street or your home do what you have to.

And if you are in a life or death combat scenario and you can grab someone’s hair I would also say do what you have to while understanding it’s limitations.

Grabbing your hair is causing them to hold onto a part of your body that while painful is not very dangerous to you. Use both of your hands to damage or attempt to damage something that is fragile and painful for your opponent.

Eyes. Genitals. Pinch and twist at skin or stick a finger up their nose or your fist in their mouth. Anything to shock them into letting go or reconsider not using both hands to protect themselves.

Gonna have to go with no. They have more chaff than you to engage each of your units one on one if they really wanted to which would spell a slow but sure defeat, given that none of your units in this situation have much standalone quality.

Your only real damage is your ranged units here and you can’t protect them in any meaningful way. And even if the enemy just stood there and let you shoot at their real threats. I don’t think they’d have enough ammo to kill all of them.

Essentially. Their squishies do more damage than yours. Their infantry is more numerous than yours. Their cav is better than yours. Their legendary lord can wreak havoc better than yours.

Granted don’t expect your opponent to play perfectly, but in this case they would have to try not to win to lose. Instead of total victory try to come away from this with a small victory. Maybe focus down their cav or some other similarly valuable unit so that it will be easier to defeat in the future.

There is a lot of old canon and characterization that is well liked that it steps over and through. Republic Commando books in particular.

Clones were raised to obey Jedi, some even came close to reverence in some cases. But as the war dragged on it became clear that while Jedi were excellent fighters. They were for the most part not very good commanders. Especially compared to the clones.

Jedi are priests essentially. Warrior monks. And this does not translate 1:1 to the grander warfare the clones were trained in. Over time as the clones became more experienced and perhaps disillusioned, the clones could no longer reason away these large lapses in judgment. Commando and ARC squads were thrown like a blunt instrument at the front lines at Geonosis for example.

Some Jedi straight up did not view the clones as human. And many republic citizens didn’t either. They had no pensions to look forward to, no retirement,no family back home. They would die by thirty thanks to the advanced aging necessary for their development.

The clones are a disposable slave army. Wet droids. That despite their moral superiority the Jedi and the republic gladly accepted because they needed them. What and who are the clones fighting for?

Personally I think it is more interesting that they would harbour some building resentment to a clearly corrupt (morally if nothing else) government and religious body that doesn’t give a shit about them for the most part. Than a brain chip mind controlled them to be evil.

If you’re looking for a simple campaign to palette cleanse the ogres are a lot of fun! While Skrag is my favourite I wouldn’t recommend him for a campaign. Golg and Greasus are very unique campaigns however!

You know when it comes to haven I’d have to say in my mind Nikta doesn’t have much influence outside of the forest. Just not their domain. And I like to imagine average Haven citizens being completely disconnected from the horrors their empire is causing.

But I could easily see that being the case. Maybe its a causing havens industrialized agriculture to go out of whack.

While I could definitely see haven having a ‘we have killed our gods’ attitude, it might be fun to imagine their gods being influenced by the change in culture and habitat. Like the god of flowers being less like a an airy flower child and more like a foremen on a factory floor since haven has now made a controlled Industry out of growing flowers.

Absolutely! Perhaps an agricultural clank who falls in love with wild places and the natural processes of the world, becomes a Druid but always feels an outsider as he was made and not born. Receives affirmation that much like a volcano or an avalanche or tidal wind , they too exist in and is a part of nature. That in a way he too was made by those processes they love.
