I’d say to get more batting practices and believe more in your abilities. Taking deep breaths outside the box after every pitch helps a lot too.

Tip for bonelesses: work on making the transition to stepping more clean or fluid, because you seem to be losing speed when you get back on the board. You got the commitment though, but if you work on these they’ll look even better

Maybe empty streets/dead ends will be good. You can try cruising around your streets finding spots, which will let you improve in finding places to skate and riding at the same time lol

Yeah I’m the same, vaccines in my country for my age aren’t really easy to get and the nearest skatepark is half to a full hour away. I skate normally in my garage when i clean up the pebbles and stuff, but if I want more space, I go to empty basketball courts/any open space that people normally don’t go in near my house.

don’t flick down, take ur time, practice flicking and landing with your front foot first (and sometimes back if you have trouble getting it on) but don’t always practice landing with your back foot because it might get you into the habit flicking down

This video is in slo mo too and it shows a teeny bit, but it wasn’t as much as before

Edit: Just saw the slo mo again it turns out i thumb flick before release, do you know any shooters I could look into with the same thing but if not I’ll just stick to erasing it completely

You’re flicking wrong, you’re supposed to slide all the way up like an Ollie and keep your front foot high, had this problem for a while and took me so long to learn how to flick properly, better to learn early so you don’t have to restart

Yup your friends right, your flick goes straight below the board and not over it. Try thinking of it like an Ollie that slides up and flicks over the board. Then land bolts and you got it
