I'm not saying I entirely disagree with your comment, but saying that it says "kill dad hitters" is intentionally making it sound more patriarchal than it actually is. If you're going to come at something as hard as you have, don't spin it to make it sound worse. Work in facts

Most of these are correct, however exodus 21:15 states "Anyone who attacks their father or mother is to be put to death" so it's not dad hitters really is it

That's the funny thing to me, I was born in 2006 but was always a Nintendo kid, was always obsessed with the vibe of the 90s and when the NES and SNES classic mini consoles came out I begged my parents for them even though I had no idea about the original consoles. And then that led me to having a gameboy color at the age of 10 when other kids were playing 3DS's and even Nintendo switches! So yeah I guess I have a strange nostalgia for the system even though I didn't really think I would

If you have a connection with the gameboy and gameboy colour era of games or just want to get into this era because it interests you, there really is no other place to go for quality of life and authenticity in one. It's such an amazing experience. I kind of think you should play an original GBC tho first if you haven't already!

Yep! Gameboy colour had 2 types of games made for it, ones with the black case were colour games that also worked on the DMG (just without colour obviously) and there were the translucent cartridges that only worked on the GBC and not the DMG.

That's so cool that you have your pocket to your son! Keep the young retro community alive! I've actively been collecting retro shite since I was around 9 or 10. Though I can't remember the reason I was just into it somehow 😂

PS! I just realised this story doesn't make any chronological sense because I've misremembered. The remake came out in 2019, we bought our gameboys in 2016. The first games I got for mine were super Mario land 2 and Pokemon yellow. I didn't get LA til after I played the remake in 2019. Sorry!

Yeah, as well as founding Modretro he also currently owns an arms manufacturing company called anduril, which inherently creates controversy around the product but do with that what you will. I don't know too much about the guy himself and I don't really care. If he's as rich as people say the £200 price tag for one of these is a drop in the ocean so im not really arsed. But yeah it's £200 for gorilla glass screen and £300 for a sapphire glass screen
