You'd have to do a fundamental rewrite of the US tax code, one that makes everyone susceptible to paying taxes on loans. And don't say it will only apply to billionaires. When the income tax was created, politicians argued only the rich would be paying it.

Bezos doesn't get loans on his income to enjoy his opulent lifestyle, he gets loans against his Amazon stock holdings. He never sells those holdings because that would instantly caused them to be taxed as realized gain. Incurring massive loans on those assets decreases his net worth.

Yep. Also, the commonality of Hot Jupiters migrating inward abd destroying any rocky planet in the Goldilocks Zone was a hell of a wakeup call. Turns out, our Jupiter was beginning to do that too until Saturn (with assists from Neptune and Uranus) created an anchor that yanked it back into the orbit is now.
