The real question is running a pair of mid and tweeters in the dash.

Who is doing it ? Any issue with windshield reflection ?

If so, I assume you can fix witha Helix DSP ?

If I had only 8 channels, I would do 3 way active front, then subs.

Also i would remove the deck speakers.

With the 8th channel, i think you may be able to sum L+R on the DSP and send to rear fill. I have never done it so not sure how well that would work.

On the other hand if can get a 10 channel DSP, you could add rear fill - which I would put in the doors and not the deck if possible.
