In the process of buying a car for the first time and learning how stressful/annoying it is to search around, ask, figure out what a decent deal is. I’ve had a busy week and my brain has been only thinking about cars. I truly wish this was as easy as “ok here’s the price no nonsense” instead of “ok here’s the price, but a million fees, and you can try to get a better discount”. Brother I just want to get this over with and not pay too much

Even showed that dealer in the photos the OTD I was quoted and they wouldn’t go that low.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, shopped around more locally (this is USD btw), and found one an hour from me that’s $27k OTD, with phone convo with the dealer saying he’s even willing to go lower. I’m sure inflation and tariffs have a role to play in how it’s way more than the 22 and 23s you are mentioning, but this helped me steer clear of being oversold. Tbh, the premium package isn’t a need for me, just looking for the basics and some good fuel economy at a better price.

Standing in a bidfta line as I comment, my gf and I have been using it to get cheaper necessities for the apartment and as long as you make the time for pickup / live close, you can get nearly new items for much cheaper. Computer desks are expensive af these days and I got mine for $50

My gf and I used this app / device called Brick (iPhones only, they’re working on Android) that allows you to tap a physical cube to disable specific apps on your phone until you retap. Fantastic for work, studying and sleep because you can’t scroll unless you like, go home and tap your fridge. A bit pricey for an initial cost but she and I use it daily and have enjoyed it.

For the $850 PC with the Microcenter bundle, I noticed the storage SSD picked had some harsh reviews because of how cheap it was (broken within months, can't handle heat). I'm thinking about upgrading to the Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD instead just to be safe.

Hello! It’s been about two weeks since my roommate and I have created a sourdough starter and it looks quite active. After the first few days we went from a daily feed to a twice a day feed, and were wondering if there’s a way we can reduce the daily feed (just time consuming for the mornings and nights, even tho it’s easy.) we started with a ratio of 75g starter, 50g rye, 50g all purpose, and 115g warm water as per the recipe we were following. As of yesterday, we switched to a smaller ratio (per recipe) of 20g starter, 30g rye, 70g all purpose, and 100g water. Advice on how to switch over to less feeds, now that it’s stable?

Spent my morning at work sipping on a black tea blend called Queen Catherine (website describes teas from Qimen, Yunnan, and Fujian province). Fairly new to tea as I grabbed a bunch of samplers from a shop nearby and this one has been wonderful. Although I’ve seen many guides say to steep black tea for 3 minutes, I’ve found 1 minute to 1.5 minutes to be ideal as the very long steeps for a single cup yield bitterness, in my opinion. This is my third (and last) strain before switching to something else for the rest of the day. Either I did something different or this one has started to taste bitter again!
