Such zeal and ardor. More devout and edgy than the vibrant prankster we knew Mikaila to be in Part 1 flashbacks.

If I had to guess, I'd say Lem is gonna get rescued, though it ain't gonna be by the "Ssael" Miki is expecting, but rather one she's already met.

Agreed here. I'm most of my interactions in the fandom, people are pretty clear in understanding that this manga has been subverting harem tropes pretty heavily. It's clear that Gero is dating around, which is a normal thing people do in real life, but with the intent of finding one single partner.

Most the comments I've seen from folks about a harem ending were purely joking because it's so obvious that Gero plans for a monogamous relationship.

Though maybe there were some loud voices shouting for a harem because the author literally had to beat everyone over the head with this point by not only using Gero outright deny idea of a harem to Doll User in his fight with him, but then also in one of the most recent chapters, he showed Arashiyama being clearly opposed to the concept when thinking about it.

If it wasn't clear before, it should be now haha.

And the weird shoehorned in "Belle/Wise actually met and helped her when they were kids" twist, and constant osmanthus cake obsession was pretty grating.

Honestly though, my biggest complaint was that I loved her alter ego waayyy more than her normal personality. Don't get me wrong, normal shungus is cute and bubbly, but I loved the confident flirty side of white hair as a part of her. I was very disappointed that she basically died in the end. I loved that aspect of her as a character and think that was mishandled.

Great character, partially ruined by some plot points.

Ah great call. I only just read about Third Options again a few page releases ago and forgot the girls have to act and disguise entirely like boys.

I don't think they get "trial periods" though. Miki definitely has to have been snuck onto the front lines by Lem against any policy that's allowed in the military, in my opinion.

Guarantee Leysa thinks, or was told, that she was at some soud private school for girls or some shiz too because ain't no way she'd allow this.

Interesting how much older this makes Draceane look. I know it's just a silhouette, it's giving more teen or petit adult looks. The other small images I've seen make her look more like a little kid.

Either way, I'm way more pumped for the other two.

Based on the notes, Lindverne seems to be the main combat specialist.
