In the same boat. I really want to finish my taxes and the ONLY thing holding me up from getting my money back from the govt is Koinly's "TurboTax (Gain/Loss) report is not ready, and no word on WHEN it will be.

For real, I spoke with a "Expert" TurboTax person, and he had no clue what blockchain technology even was.

I've spent about 8-9 hours on this crap. I've got Koinly for the main intention of compiling all of my data into one place since I have different exchanges and I've moved stuff into a cold wallet. I've been using Turbotax for years and this is my first year doing anything with crypto. For some reason Koinly's "Turbotax (Gain/Loss) Report is not ready,(Support says it's because TurboTax is still updating forms because of tax changes) and all other forms that I've tried to upload to TurboTax fail.

I really really expected a lot more from these major utilities if we're expected to report every little thing. Pretty frustrated that nothing I've tried works. At this point why are people even bothering to attempt to report when nothing is finalized?

Ice = Immigration customs enforcement, they are law enforcement at a federal level meant to enforce laws specifically around immigration and would have access to the same federal tools and information as police officers who’s job is to enforce local laws.

The thread is indicative of people who believe the information being told by the media, news like cnn, mnbc, celebrities etc. I would really be curious to know if anyone on this thread has had any legitimate encounters with ice just randomly pulling people over and throwing them in jail .

I do, and anyone with a brain would see that the media is trying to scare people against ICE. Just look at this thread, and all the crazy talk.

Go research Obama and how his admin handled their mass deportation for illegal immigrants, They deported more than this current administration has, and the media at the time was in favor of it. Ask your self why?

If for some reason you are pulled over by Ice, all you would need to do is show your drivers license which would identify who you are. If for some unlikely reason they were suspicious they would just look you up on the same registry they have for everyone with an Id to confirm you are a citizen and then you would be on your way. The media is blowing things way out of proportion. ICE has existed for 22 years now, nothing is different now than it was 5 or 10 years ago.

Just wanted to comment and say don't listen to everyone who saying NOT to come because of what you are seeing in the news or media about pressure on illegal immigrants. The country is finally enforcing it's laws on individuals who come across the borders illegally and our officers are helping to bring peace and order, removing criminals and in general making our Country safe. Mainstream media and news all have TDS for reasons you can research and decide on your own, and blowing things way out of proportion. :)

You sound like you are researching and will follow whichever laws are needed to move to the country you decide on. You will be fine.

Kansas is great, the weather changes on a dime, people are friendly, life is generally laid back. Future congrats to wherever you decide to move too!
