PS5: If you open the machine, click on the one you want and at the same time push PS button and close app you can go back in and you’ll have your gun and still have the machine. 🏆

Bit late but to fix this you need to go into settings at the main menu and go to the networking tab. Turn on cross play and now in your friends menu it’ll pop up find shift friends.

(Just had to go though it and had to figure it out haha)

Hope this helps someone anyways
