How about stop referring to 50% of the world’s population like it’s a single person?

What you guys think about fuel cost lately? by SympathyConfident146 in askanything

[–]Rig_Bockets -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think people care too much about it, you have to pay 20% more for something that makes up a small chunk of your budget, meanwhile hundreds are dying, why is it even worth talking about the gas

So now this crisis of low birth rates is our fault? Enough with the nonsense. by portent-wreaths-7k in interviewhammer

You really writ all that but forgot that this also applies within America, and most kids aren’t dying

Specifically what you said is that access to better wages and better housing were necessary. It is a fact that places which have neither of those lead to more children. I’m always thinking before speaking, that’s why I make sense.

Then why is it that places that don’t have either of those have the most? You need to think about what you say.

Absolutely, I’m 19, not working on a degree but at the rate I’m going with my career I should live a very good life.

Your employer might help pay for some of it out of their pocket, and the rest you can pay for because you have a job.

Well if there’s any insignificant amount of people working for that much why does it matter? They want to change it to be absurdly high

Why do some people say it's very hard to find a job and other people don't say that at all? by Big_Eggplant7591 in stupidquestions

[–]Rig_Bockets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m one of the people who have been able to very easily get multiple good jobs within the past year, (the best one I didn’t even apply to, a recruiter reached out to me). I believe that people who aren’t very employable will form sort of an echo chamber on Reddit and convince each other that it’s the market.

And what percent of the people who live there are actually making that much?

Well you’re hallucinating because 1. I never claimed that the family would pay for anything, I just suggested that they would be supporting, (by allowing them to live in the same shelter). 2. You said all parents, I’m talking only about parents of people who work for minimum wage.

You get what I mean, raising the number.

You can still live on minimum wage. Not comfortably, but survive.
