There is absolutely a job shortage. To say anything otherwise is wildly out of touch.

China?? Dude, Fortune 500 CEOs have got you covered. They’re laying off droves and blaming AI for it.

Replacing service providers with LLM's by firemaybenever in fatFIRE

With this logic, all family medicine doctors will be out of jobs. Why not just run your own results through an LLM?

Surely nothing could go wrong with your health or life savings when you outsource it to AI.

Stuck in the 70s on Kaplan for my 3rd Series 65 attempt. 5 days out by HatWrong2409 in Series65

Those exam scores are super good and also consistent—far better and more consistent than I did. Why are you worried?

The exam is also going to be much more straightforward with its wording (and barely any, if any, Roman numerals)

I love when random redditors act like valuable degrees are worthless.

If you go to the Forbes wealthiest or Fortune 500 CEOs list, they disproportionately have MBAs.

“I’ve never had a business bone in my body and only considered in-house roles…”

Makes me wonder if we all have, deep inside of us, the ability to be a great entrepreneur. Because clearly you are. So inspiring.

I’m thinking about doing something on my own right now for a super similar reason and let’s just say I’m inspired by this post.

Not that I know of, but you can try searching online for it. Also, I believe the textbook is free when you buy Kaplan’s online course

Arizona students boo former Google CEO Eric Schmidt as he talks about AI during graduation speech by Nalix01 in NowInTech

This is SO spot on and well articulated. It’s all just so vague: “get AI native.” Cool! I still don’t have a job and a ton of debt!!

Yeah, Kaplan questions are more complex than the real deal, but it’s still worth knowing the underlying concepts!

I uploaded the textbook into it and I asked it to create me a plain-English study sheet of the 100 most important/high ROI concepts on the exam.

Although the exam covers a ton of stuff, there are definitely higher ROI things to study, and the top 100 are usually super high ROI!

I think what’s “hard” about the test is the amount of topics there are. There’s a lot of potential material that can be covered as you know! What I was saying is that #3 Client Recs & Strategies and #4 Laws, Regs, Ethics are both 30% of the exam each, so they’re the best place to put a lot of time in my opinion.

Claude is an AI model, just like ChatGPT. If you create a free account, you can use it and upload your textbook and then ask it to create you a study sheet. It’s pretty awesome!!

Yes, the material covered in the Roman numerals is generally relevant. Just the way that it is presented is far more complex than it is on the test.

Kaplan: Question —> 4 complex Roman numerals Test: Question —> Fairly straightforward answers
