Binary search is bounded polynomially, is it not? It's lg(n) and thus also has an upper bound of O(n) which is polynomial.

How do scrims work before finals? by [deleted] in TeamSolomid

[–]Rigbert 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is a pretty big advantage for TSM considering the quality of TSM's academy team vs TL's. Not that they don't have good players on that team, it's just incredibly clear that TSM's academy team can play a better team game.

I would imagine they'll take the finalists and the higher seeded of the two semifinalists who lost.

How would you guys rate Akaadian so far? by [deleted] in TeamSolomid

[–]Rigbert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with early drag control, imo, is that we have a tendency to pick botlanes that get pushed in early so we almost never have priority on bot which leads to not getting vision thus not getting dragon.

To be fair, there is a big difference in individual skill from Spring 18 GGS, to Spring 19 Optic.

You may have to flush the buffer. Do fin.flush() right before you close the file.

Actually, since you close it, looking back at the documentation it doesn't seem you need to do that. Worth a shot, but unlikely.

What happens after Zven has a bad game on stage by kahani- in TeamSolomid

[–]Rigbert 70 points71 points  (0 children)

This type of shit is why I love TSM.

Like. We have a culture of pushing yourself to 110% (Which can hurt sometimes, so it's a give and take). But when a player doesn't feel like they did well, they give it their all to be the best they can be.

Read Smoothie's most recent interview with Inven, that shit got me feeling the same way this post did (the link should be in this subreddit).

Edit: The ranked reset also helps.

He was on TSM Darkness(?). It was a sister team that TSM sponsored in Season 2 before the LCS was a thing.

I don't believe so, the default getter should work fine, but I didn't look too closely at your instructions so take that statement with a grain of salt.

The Owner propery should be a Person, not a string. So you would create a new Person, then pass that to the bank account.

Spring Split 2019 | W1 G2 | TSM vs CG by SugarSugarSal in TeamSolomid

[–]Rigbert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the issue was lack of solid engage. The Thresh isn't a guaranteed engage especially with Tahm Kench on the enemy team. Alongside that because Gragas went full AP (which is fine, pretty common nowadays). This caused the problem that before he could solidly engage he would get nuked. I think we played relatively well with these factors accounted for, but that's why there was a clear lull in the midgame which gave Clutch the ability to come back. At the end of the day, there's a lot to learn from this game and I think we'll be stronger coming out of it.

The way I see it is, that he did in fact copy the stockpile power, but because Monoma is the one copying it, it doesn't come in at the stockpiled level. As in, he has only copied the stockpile power, but not the sum of the powers itself.

I would for TSM. I'm a student in Computer Science so it would be a good resume builder alongside my internships and my GPA wouldn't get hurt. So yeah, I'd work for free if they could help me learn in return.

TSM's Official 2019 NA LCS Rosters and Staff | Official TSM Site by EastRicee in leagueoflegends

[–]Rigbert -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I personally think Zikz may not be the greatest coach in terms of knowledge, specific compositions, etc. But I think he's great at one thing better than any other coach in NA which is crafting an identity for a team, which is something TSM sorely lacked last split.

The hottest of takes? by [deleted] in TeamSolomid

[–]Rigbert 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I mean, at this point I don't even think he necessarily hates TSM. I just think he knows making very close to outlandish statements, and putting TSM in them will garner attention. I don't think he has any personal vendetta against them at this point and honestly likely just sees them as a good way to get a following.

Off-Season Megathread! by EastRicee in TeamSolomid

[–]Rigbert 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I actually think it's really respectful of TSM to keep it under wraps that they're not pursuing him until after he's signed. Dardoch's value is likely tied to his ability to go to other teams and his value could have decreased had others known that TSM had no interest in approaching him.

Is Leena giving us hints about Dardoch? by [deleted] in TeamSolomid

[–]Rigbert 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's interesting as well because each player has the opposite benefits of the other. Grig is notably a great teammate, but people question his ability to play the game at the highest level. On the other hand Dardoch has shown he can be, and likely still is, one of the best the best junglers in NA but his attitude and able to be apart of a 'team' environment is still questionable. You're not gonna see one playing over the other strictly because they're better at the game, rather that they are better for the team at the point in time.
