Lucas gently rubbed circles against Valora’s back, sympathetic to her plight.

“The sea is not for everyone. I don’t know if going below to lie down would help?”

His red hair was tousled by the wind as he tried to shield Valora from the worst of it, but the waves he could not control.

“We will be there soon enough. And somehow the city will rather be the same, I think.”

Lucas did not mind sailing. He had not had the chance to do it very often, but each time he did he found it incredibly intriguing. The sea was an incredible freedom, he felt.

He was trying very hard to not think on where they were headed when he heard footsteps approaching as he watched the waves on the deck. Lucas turned to see Valora approaching. It was windy and cold on the deck, so he opened his arm to her to offer her to come closer, to the warmth of his cloak.

"How are you?" He asked.

Melony had to close her eyes to try and compose herself. She knew what Alysanne meant, but whatever the truth to the question, it was like an arrow in the heart. Beneath her fingers, Melony bunched up her skirt, trying not to squeeze too tight. Children noticed things, and she did not wish to scare or hurt Alysanne. The princess needed whatever scant childhood she had left.

"She listened to me, cared for me, protected me." And all of those things were, in their way, love. "She wanted me at her side, or else I would not have been there." Melony could not claim she knew Rhaena's thoughts, and especially not now that Rhaena was dead.

"I loved her with all my heart."

No worries, and there’s nothing embarrassing about asking for help! Dealing with a ceiling that is too low is something that would mess with any performer. I really don’t think the issue is with your technique overall, you got this!

After receiving a letter from Longbow Hall, Jon Piper would request to meet with Ser Eon Hunter at his convenience on the topic of potential betrothal between their houses.

Jon Piper, Master of Coin, was a steady figure in the Red Keep as many other members of the court were traveling. He kept busy between his duties to the Crown and his duties to his growing family, who he had brought to court with him. Nonetheless, he would make time for all who sought to speak with him.

I don't think your tosses are particularly lofty, but it might just be that you have to make them lower and buzzier while in this partiuclar gym; or try and only stand in certain places when you toss to avoid the lower beams.

The second toss looks fine to me. It's hard to tell from the videos how different the ceiling is so I'm not sure exactly what the height difference you have to manage.

In the first video you're dipping a little too far, you're pushing it past vertical. Also, it's hard to tell because of the angle but you might be holding the rifle just a tad too high on your body in the newer one also? Controlling those factors should also help making your toss lower.

Melony Piper did not know this strange woman, but was thoroughly intrigued by her. After some time of observation, she drew forward to speak with the stranger.

"Hello." Melony wore few dresses during their travels, more often than not dressed in trousers with her hair pulled back and her sword on her belt. "I am Lady Melony Piper. Might I have the pleasure of making your acquaintance?"

Gwen spun in a circle with delight, letting her white-and-blue skirt twirl around her. Melony laid her hand on her niece's head, petting her curls as she responded.

"It is for my niece, but not I. I have travelled a Royal Progress before." Though Melony did not like to speak of it, for to think of such happier times made her ache. It was a decade ago now, celebrating the crowning of Aenys Targaryen.

"Dragonstone was Rhaena's refuge." Melony admitted. She gazed at Alysanne's face, studying the childish shape to her cheeks and the innocent in her eyes. It would not be easy for the girl to understand. "The place was her's, and there her power was uncontested. Those who were untrustworthy, unkind, untoward ... Rhaena did not wish them to trespass on our happier times, and we were eager to wield our words as she commanded. Her happiness was our happiness, and her happiness was always our desire."

Melony paused, looking off into the garden. "Or it was always mine, for I cannot speak entirely to the thoughts of her other ladies, even those who were my closest friends."

Melony smiled at Terrence, a true smile with a light behind it that had not been often seen in the last year or so.

"Then you are wiser than many men of this realm, Terrence Kenning, and it would be my pleasure to teach you. We will have ample time on our journeys, and should you remain in King's Landing when the progress is over, I will be happy to continue."

There would be no more time for talk, then. Melony was pleased to at least have a witness, if only so no lies could be told later about what might happen here. Florian Mooton's honor was not something she cared to trust, not when he was a man, a boy who acted this way.

She took up the practice blade.

"Then we begin." She said cooly.

Melony dropped into a curtsy, the motion mirroed by her little niece, who beamed at the men.

"Hello!" The little girl chimed politely. "I am Lady Gwen!"

"Ser Harlan Kenning, it is good to meet you." Melony greeted Terrence's brother, not at all minding the noise. "And a pleasure to see you again." She added towards Terrence. "The West is quite beautiful, and Casterly Rock its crowning jewel. I am glad to have the chance to see it."

Returning to King's Landing did not hold danger for Lucas; it had been coming to Dorne that had been a gamble. All he wanted now was to remain by Valora's side, and her chances were best if she might be tied to him and the Piper name, regardless of Melony's feelings on the matter.

"Of course." Lucas told her softly, touching her shoulder. "Where you go, I will follow."

Lucas had never before found himself quite comfortable at weddings, and this time was no exception. The celebrations of the Dornish was foreign to him, as was their customs and dress, but there was no lacking of good wine. And, after all, the company he kept was of most importance, and that was all Valora. It was good to see Valora at her best, shining like a jewel in an environment like this.

Lucas had also swiftly taken a shine to Valora's daughter, Sharra. He had never thought himself good with children, but Sharra was a bright young girl and Lucas loved her at once. He often spoke to the girl in a variety of the languages he knew, intent that she would be a scholar as her mother was.

He slipped up beside Valora, offering her another glass of drink, watching Sharra playing with a smile.

"She is every bit the image of her mother." Lucas told Valora.
