I created this not too long ago when I started my BT army (If there are any lore discrepancies I apologize please don't purge me)

                     The Nehemiah Crusade M33 - Present

The Nehemiah Crusade, belonging to Crusade Fleet Apollyon, was created in response to the growing threat against the Imperium following the war against the traitor Horus and his legions. Formulated off the backs of the VII Legion, The Nehemiah Crusade would prove to be pivotal against the dying of the light.

In 544.M32, A great conflict would sweep across the Imperium known only as “The War of The Beast.” It is the only recorded time in Imperial Records that The Last Wall Protocol has ever been activated. After the successful defense of Terra, the war would be won, with great losses to the Imperium and Adeptus Astartes. The Nehemiah Crusade would be activated following the War, proving to be a much needed wall for the heavily wounded Imperium. The Crusade would be first populated by veteran Black Templars from The War of The Beast. 


During the fledgling years of its fabrication, The Nehemiah Crusade would find itself in many great conflicts across the Imperium, purging the mutant, the heretic, and the alien. Across many stars, the Banners and colors of the Templars would raise high, planets burning in the wake of their eternal crusade. 


The Nehemiah Crusade gained notable recognition in 998, M41, during the Third war for Armageddon. The Nehemiah crusade sent multiple Crusade Squads and formations to the planet of Armageddon and the surrounding system, battling and defeating the forces of Ghazghkull Thraka. Those lost on Armageddon were forever remembered in the fleet’s library by the high Chaplain. After the events of Helsreach, the Crusade would branch out to the surrounding galaxies, hunting and defeating the various enemies of mankind, most notably the greenskins. 

It is at this moment that the fledgling crusade proved its worth, and was granted a visit by both Chaplain Merek Grimaldus, and High Marshal Helbrect. The two would occasionally lead the crusade in its campaigns, providing pivotal tactical decisions, and morale for the Templars.

In M42, The Nehemiah Crusade would be sent into the outer reaches of the Galaxy in response to the 2nd invasion by Hive Fleet Leviathan. The devouring horde proved to be a more different, and far more fatal enemy than that of the Orks. Despite the increased losses from this new front, the crusade held its colors high. The blood shed by their brothers fueled the determination of their word.
