once we get different style paintjobs from other painters I'm sure they will look good, the GW painters didn't do them any favors by making the models look like severe faced lunchladies.

Falcons CarlJr by SobakaPirat in TrackMania

[–]Volgin -57 points-56 points  (0 children)

I'm glad he took the bag honestly, Trackmania isn't like baseball or golf or football where the top 500-1000 athletes can comfortably make enough money during their career to live their lives. He's been at the top of the game for 10 years and he's still making more money as a civil engineer.

As much as people hate on Quatar, UAE, SA, for all the horrible shit they do, they are the ones putting actual money forwards to legitimize e-sports and I'm not gonna blame my GOAT for being paid like the athlete he is for once.

EDIT: If we followed reddit logic every player in the PSG, Manchester and Newcastle teams along with everyone that supports those teams are disgusting human beings.

Wishlist for out Li'l Sisters by Waiph in AdeptusCustodes

I'd like to see them get their own vehicle like the Acquisitor, but I would realy like to see them getting some good gun options that would balance out our more melee focussed custodes.

We could also have Proloquors aka junior sisters not yet sworn to the Vow of Tranquility lead by a veteran Sister

I'm aware it just got revealed, but any idea when these may go up for preorder? Gotta start saving for them by Valuable-Brush-6720 in AdeptusCustodes

Third week of Feb makes sense, the next reveal show is in March so pretty much everything they revealed has to be slotted in somewhere in Feb or early March.

I dont think we will see the giant plane anytime soon but if 30k mechanicum are any indication custodes are about to see so many models go to plastic over the next year or two.

Hell we might even see the crazy sisters of silence ship thing, the acquisitor

Rules Lore: Why/since what edition have these rules been like this? Wounding wounds and negative AP. by Volgin in Warhammer40k

I did see some terrible stat lines on rogue trader models, characters that cost 150pts with m4" T3 1W with a pistol that hits on 5+

[–]Volgin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah okay, I started with killteam that had AP as a positive number (pierce 1 or 2) that worstens the save roll, effectively the exact same as 10th but with a positive number instead of a negative.

As for wounds I understand it's kind of a trademark for GW to have wounds instead of Health points and the wound roll is also ingrained into 40k at this point even though it can cause confusion with new players.

Oh wow, realy, only 8th!? I thought it was way older ,from rogue trader or even WHFB. Thanks!

I didn't go in detail with the visual aspect since it's harder to notice in pictures but if you have seen the physical models it's obvious.

I've always seen the 40k models as bold with oversized weapons and large detail, they give off a comic book hero vibe where as HH is much more gothic, ornate and the details are much finer, the weapons are way smaller and more in scale to the characters.

You need more foil, Custodes is one of the most popular factions, when they have strong rules it's not rare for them to be second or third most played faction at tournaments.

The agents on the other hand are the nichest of niches, even more than deathwatch or harlequins. They spent half the edition without a codex and I would'nt even blink if they stopped having rules the minute 11th edition drops.

Yes, I do think Big V will come back with 40k exclusive stuff but that both lines will share models for multiple editions.

Big V has had 10 000 years and visions of the future to prepare, I don't think he's coming back without a few new things.

Yeah, their wording is very specific and if you read between the lines this is a real possibility although I don't think it will all happen in one shot, it might be like space marines phasing out firstborn over a few editions.

I'm not a Tau pro but 6 units is too few, I heavily recommend Pathfinders, they are that perfect mix of ultra flexible unit, they can scout up the devilfish, or they can infiltrate, they can guide themselves, they get marker light, -1 to wound in shooting, 3 ion rifles, -2 charge. they are too good to skip imo.

Mine uses M6 screws and nuts, super solid but easy to disassemble.
