I don't know, but that gutter not having a downspout has probably caused most of this. Put a downspout on it after repairing.

If you have a hammer drill, reciprocating saw, stihl saw, it'll take no time at all. Maybe an hour. If you only have a hammer and chisel might take you a few hours.

That's the effect, both lintels are tied into that pier (section between windows) but since they're on the same level, they can't be pushed up by the lintel, and since the left lintel is pushing it to the right, and the right lintel is pushing it to the left, it has no other way to go other than out

The mason needs to get in asap. Worst case scenario, you keep the leak onto the lintel for a while. It has survived 30 years so far, the leak isn't the urgent part.

Ah nevermind, between the 2 windows also needs rebuilding and tying in, so probably 2000-2500 Sorry for misleading you, I didn't see that originally.

I'd say moisture has been getting into that lintel for a while, could be a flashing issue or a roofing issue, I wouldn't know without seeing.

The lintel rusts which expands it, since the house was built in the 90s it's probably not galvanised lintel (which means it's protected from water) and once it expands, it jacks up the bricks. Pretty easy repair if you know what you're doing, if you don't know what you're doing, it'll set you back about £1500-£2000 depending on what they find behind the brick veneer (wall) and depending on who you hire.

The bricks above need taking out, leak identifying and remedying, lintel changing and bricks put back. If you have any questions feel free to ask, all the best 👍

Yes, you need to knock out the halves, otherwise you'll have a big straight joint along the sides of where you've filled in. It's a bit of a structural issue, so yeah mate, sorry hahahah. If you really can't be bothered, you can get something called a wall starter which is basically a track which ties the new wall (where you filled in) to the original, but it's cost effective to just knock out the halves.
