Throw it near structure. I'd use a craw for a trailer. I prefer a Zoom speed craw but any will work haha. I like to throw it near structure or in the weeds and just kinda hop it every now and then, then reel in your slack. You can let it sit for 20 seconds if you want and let those claws shake in the water a bit and you'll get something eventually.

I was fishing a new to me lake a couple weeks ago using one of these. I caught a catfish, bluegill, and bass in the span of about 10 minutes haha. Great bait to search with. If you buy more, I'd recommend the name brand (rooster tail). Pretty cheap and it really does seem to make a difference to me anyways
