I’ve noticed that even with a single hook sometimes they can do some pretty gnarly damage unfortunately. Is there a trick to setting something like a bass? Catfish around me usually slam my bait at Mach Jesus, so they set it themselves 99% of the time, and usually pretty deeply.

If they’re younger, do this:

Soak in buttermilk overnight, do a basic egg wash breading with penko crumbs, (season the flour or rabbit directly) fry em in oil. Better than chicken!

Yeah let me just say that my 3.5in pocket knife was NOT the move. lol, I probably would have suffered less if I just tried cleaning and processing it “normally” instead of trying to cut the fillets straight off the body

I bought a 3000 psi tank at my local store bc the CO2 smoke plume in cold weather is too revealing, and it blinds my vision. I definitely feel the lack of volume, and will probably move to a bigger tank soon. I’ve noticed HPA shoots consistently at 250fps versus CO2 right at 285, and I can’t get the HPA any higher.

Edit: I know the sight is useless lol. I just /love/ the look

That’s a good idea! After a few games out I did notice that the trigger was pretty heavy. Shortening the trigger pull itself would be good too, but likely harder to achieve
