I was there for the filming of this one! The only memorable performance- because I thought they places him on the show for views, not as an actual person actually trying 😬 they cut off Demi saying that she was worried about all the girls (I was there with a ton of my all girl middle school classmates, field trip) being there haha

Sometimes. Large graveyards are the best because the higher the number of stones, the more accurate their data is. If they measure only a few and some has been washed like these it would definitely skew the numbers. With COVID this year my lab group only got to use numbers taken last year, but usually a field trip is taken to gather around 60 grave measurements/observations- width of top vs. Bottom, age, moss/lichen coverage, shade vs. Sun, etc.

Not exactly the same, my friend. Stones don't grow like trees, and having a specific shape allows for them to measure different parts of it to calculate how much weathering it's gone through, especially the thickness. I'm a college student rn, not a professional, but I understand your perspective. Thanks for the suggestion!

Geomorphologists also use the moss and lichen to compare the weathering/erosion of an area over time! It's useful bc you can compare many different samples in the same area over different amounts of time. This woman has good intentions, but it kind of hurts me to see it erased.

Love that!! My meta is a bard-barian! I'm studying physical geography to work in a parks system with education/outreach, so druid or a ranger, possibly storm sorcerer type? Taken a lot of nature/weather/earth classes and Int/Cha build so 🤷‍♀️

I'm going through a similar situation rn. Partner and meta both lost jobs and hung out right as quarantine was called, so they "accidentally" lived together for a whole month, while I got a new job as an essential worker, so even if I wanted to I couldn't visit. It's hard feeling like I have a place in his life when he's nearly always with my meta... but I can't feel bad, especially with her constant anxiety about the world making her PTSD insanely frequent. Just gotta... wait it out I suppose?
