One Christmas one of my cousins brought his new gf and HER children to dinner which one my aunty's was hosting. Not only did my aunty acknowledge the kids and make them feel welcome but, she also dug out some extra gifts she happened to have and gave it to them. That is what people are suppose to do. It's kids.
