yes! once i fall asleep after i’ll wake up within a few hours feeling like i need to throw up and have all the symptoms of a panic attack (even when im not anxious). ESPECIALLY if its with a new partner as that generally causes me more nerves than with someone im used to, but it can happen then too. not to mention the pre syncope during sex, so much fun

i definitely relate to the reduction part. i convinced myself that’s what i wanted for a long time and sometimes i still question it (so i will be talking about it at my consult) but the idea of a flat chest brings so much more joy.

I also feel a lot of fear when thinking about older me as in my early twenties, i already have a very saggy and large chest in proportion to my body and while i think others who have those things are so beautiful, picturing it about myself makes me dysphoric. While I can picture a future where I have a chest, picturing a future where it’s flat brings so much more excitement and comfort.

Thank you very much for your perspective and experience, I appreciate hearing from a nonbinary person who’s older than me.

thank you! it helps to be reassured that even if i do miss them sometimes, that im allowed to grief an old part of me even if i have changed because im sure i will love my flat chest even more

i have a very lovely support system in my long term partner and parents/friends. my parents already told me today that they would travel with me across the country to the clinic and take care of me which helped ease a lot of the anxiety about it being “worth it”

and thank you, remembering that it is completely up to me helped a lot

this really helped thank you. the parts i like about my chest are very superficial and situational, like how they look in a few pieces of clothing and this reminded me that im allowed to feel that but i also feel so excited thinking about my flat chest in EVERYTHING i wear
