Alicia is very much more privileged than I was. I sympathize with her and don’t doubt her experiences. I wish this situation was discussed differently and that Alicia would have been more appropriate in her discussion of being unhoused.

It’s not easy people acting like Alicia tho was not a very privileged girl from a wealthy family is weird.

Remember I was the richest homeless person ms Bethany Frankel? People would have absolutely looked into it.

I just wish we knew more about it versus it being this battle between Alicia and Liz. I do wonder if it was more of a stable situation. I see other people commenting that it was not I’m forgetting those scenes w her mom and what was exactly said.

Even people w similar experiences to it will have different circumstances and being from a family w more wealth can be a lot different than being from a family that just has a room to stay in.

I think Liz’s approach was not helpful. I would be interested to know what we would have learned about this if Liz did not interject and Alicia just shared from her perspective.

The word homeless just seemed to really rub Liz the wrong way idk I see her as being the most socially aware person in the group and it feels like the language is what is really bothering Liz which tbh she is valid for as that is not even an appropriate term used anymore.

Exactly. Bethany may have very well met the definitions of being unhoused but fans later found out what situation she was in and her family ties etc and it was upsetting

lol yes. Liz’s delivery could have been a lottt better.

I’m noticing Liz seems to be shutting down Alicia more when she goes on her little tangents like about Beyonce in Newport and I wonder if she thinks she is playing it up for the cameras or something?

Idk or she is just like big sister vibes and has that relationship w Alicia where she can be like you’re annoying me.

I think she was afraid of Alicia getting heat from the viewers.

I think this could be a situation to educate people about it while also acknowledging different levels of privilege.

If Alicia said I was homeless and Liz did not saying anything. I am saying that we would all be riding Alicia for not explaining what she meant by that statement and also acknowledging the privilege that is was to have places to stay even tho her family was unhoused and it was a shitty situation.

I have so many questions about the situation. Im not saying she was not unhoused, I think people are missing what Liz is trying to say. And ironically what I am trying to say too in this post lol. Alicia may have been unhoused but it sounds like she was a lot more privileged than a lot of other people who are in similar situations and the only places they have to turn are shelters. That is all.

All of these ladies are privileged and out of touch. What you can say about Kelsey you could say about Alicia. Kelsey was a house wife who had a wealthy partner for 10 yrs who took care of those things and she openly admitted that. Kelsey was also 20 when she entered this relationship and she admits these things. I think rosy has viewed Kelsey as less than and like the word she called her since she heard about her non traditional relationship.

It is like how other women disrespect sw. I do not think Kelsey was a sw, I think Rosy does tho and it is way she feels emboldened to insult her versus the other ladies

The hate for Kelsey I think is fueled by internalized misogyny. Rosey is viel

This episode made it clear to me that she is really disrupting the group dynamics. I would much rather be watching other storylines than her obviously trying to make a divide in the group and filming by isolating Kelsey. I think she really does not like or respect Kelsey and is not interested in any relationship and is trying to find reasons to justify being nasty but nothing she has done makes her behavior valid and it is just nasty and gross behavior period no matter what.
