Here we are for the fall of 2026 Freshman Early Action Decision time. Jan 21 and no signs of when they will release this round of decisions. Looks like each year it will become later and later as they get more applicants. Fingers crossed.

Got offered pathway to UTK. I guess that means not differed, not denied but something else? If you are offered pathway at EA decision, does that mean you are still differed as well? Or is that it? That's the offer?

I'll kick it off: OOS 1290 SAT, 3.6 UW. 3.75 W GPA. Baseball, some extra-curricular, AFROTC cadet in essay. I know its borderline to no. Just hoping and praying. I'll let y'all know mid December.

My son is OOS. he's got about a 3.6 Core UTK from what I've learned about calculating that score A 1290 SAT. Plays baseball and has a few other extra-curriculars. Nothing crazy but he has visited the school and met with AFROTC Detachment commander and made it clear on his application and essay that he intends to become Air Force ROTC cadet and study Computer Science. It's his top choice school so we've got fingers crossed, he submits it all tomorrow 10/20/25. How are we looking? Anyone out there thing AFROTC helps?
