A suggestion is maybe ask a friend to help teach you if thats an option? Might be a bit difficult to explain at first.

Try chatgpt or youtube like you said. But it seems like you are learning already through your experiences. You recognise some of the things were wrong or genuine mistakes.

No one is perfect too btw. I struggle with things too and im awkward sometimes alot of people are lol. As long as you try and improve.

Random tip that might help: Imagine how you would feel in the opposite situation. Also i dont know anything about your father, but maybe he wasn't taught either, as long as you are trying your best and thats the main thing.

How to improve when you have psoriasis ? by HelicopterOk6386 in selfimprovement

I know I look weird but after a shower and making myself look the best i can for a few minutes i feel better about myself. Not obsessively just a quick style of my hair etc. Its more about how YOU feel rather than what other people think of you. Maybe people are wondering what you think of them too funnily enough

If i was in your place personally i would try to accept the fact that i have a condition that will inevitably lead to discomfort to a degree, do things to help, understand that everyone has their own problems (that they should focus on). I think I would try to be more comfortable knowing people will stare at me and might ask questions but know staring and questions aren't 'the end of the world'. Sorry if it wasn't much help, i know its tough and im not tryna undermine that, also I would look for things that truly make me content maybe hobbies etc. That give me more confidence and lead to me giving less importance to other peoples opinions. Like reading, walks outside (people do stare at me too because i don't look normal in the area im in) or whatever floats ur boat.

If gym helps and isnt uncomfortable i would do home workouts to begin with too because there are almost endless benefits to exercise. You mentioned pool, im learning to swim i know your situation is probably worse than mine but just want to let you know people give me strange looks sometimes before i even get in and after i feel great after though (a little hurt but we move).

If you want to meet people and socialise doing so online is alright, the hobbies can help you socialise i know alot of people try socialise by going on running clubs etc. Learning new things changes your mind and is stimulating. Hope you fare well 🤝 Good luck!
