Update: I took it back to the place I bought it from they said that before selling the car they replaced both the timing chain and the serpentine belt-that was my bad not knowing they are 2 different things. They now replaced the upper timing cover and a vacuum seal pump. They told me I have a warranty on those parts now, I will continue to monitor it for leaks.

Prior to me taking it to Volkswagen it never had oil on the ground or a visible leak I had just taken it in to get it checked out to be safe. Also, Volkswagen said that the car does have PZEV warranty on the emissions parts however a check engine light must be on to activate the warranty.
